This adapter works. That's all you need to know. The one I bought worked for a good year before it crapped out. Something happened with the connection between the display DVI and the adapter DVI. I bought an Apple adapter and now everything works. That being said, for the price this adapter did what I needed it to. For the price, it's your best option.
